In room 216, we are expected to always try our best! During the first week of school we worked together to create our classroom contract. After reading the story How Full Is Your Bucket? For Kids, by Tom Rath, we worked to create a list of behaviors and actions that the members of room 216 should do in order to always be bucket fillers :)
At Home Expectations -Students should read every night for 20 minutes. Students should log their reading on their reading logs. -Students should practice their math facts 3 nights using Reflexmath.com This website tracks students' progress with each individual fact and provides me with updates. Students should practice 3 times a week for about 15 minutes. -Students should practice their spelling words through the program Words Their Way- complete the 4 activities each night at Spellingcity.com.
